Executive Committee

The Executive Committee serves as the primary decision-making body of the Consortium and carries out the day-to-day administrative responsibilities of the Consortium and Consortium-sponsored studies.

Science Committee

The Science Committee ensures judicious allocation of resources within METRC by identifying the highest quality proposals and topic areas for support and study. The Committee also reviews and approves secondary studies using existing METRC data.

Publications Committee

The Publications Committee promotes timely, scientifically accurate, and high-quality publications and presentations of findings from METRC studies and encourages broad and equitable participation by METRC investigators in publications and presentations.

Data Standards Committee

The Data Standards Committee refines and maintains existing protocols for standard data collection across clinical sites and across study protocols. The Committee is also maintains and implements policies and standard operating procedures for adjudication of eligibility, treatment, and/or study endpoints as necessary for specific studies.

Implementation & Quality Committee

The Implementation & Quality Committee acts in an advisory and peer-support/mentorship capacity for the Coordinating Center and for clinical centers within METRC. The purpose of the Committee is to engage in and to strengthen specific components of METRC’s overall Quality Assurance Program.

Emerging Investigators Committee

The Emerging Investigators Committee identifies and implements strategies for mentoring young investigators. The Committee also develops and implements the METRC Emerging Investigator Training and Awards program.
